KELLER, Texas — The Keller community is mourning the loss of Tegan Galipeau, a former Keller High School softball standout who passed away over the weekend at the age of 21.
Galipeau’s death has prompted an outpouring of grief from family, friends, former teammates, and classmates, who are remembering her as much for her character as for her athletic skill.
On the softball field, Galipeau was known as a dedicated and hardworking athlete who embodied determination and teamwork. Coaches and teammates recall her as a player with a strong competitive spirit who consistently brought a positive attitude to practices and games.
“Tegan was the kind of teammate who lifted everyone up,” said a former teammate, speaking on behalf of the program. “She was encouraging, gave 100 percent effort every single day, and made the team better just by being part of it. Her commitment to the program and her teammates was something special.”
